OUTLOOK The Trojans’ great comeback from a 27-7 deficit and playoff hopes were both dashed by a 27-21 loss to Proviso West, making the Old Oaken Bucket rivalry with Hinsdale Central the focus of motivation for this week.

A devastating 87-yard fumble return for a touchdown by Proviso West on the last play of the first half sent the Trojans into the break down 20-7. A 57-yard TD pass two minutes into the second half dug the hole deeper.
