The annual series that began in 1983 is renewed, with Hinsdale Central holding the advantage of recent mastery over the Hornets (winning the last eight times).

The Red Devils, however, enter in the unusual position of holding a 1-3 record and needing wins in four of the last five weeks to reach the playoffs.

All three Red Devil losses this fall have come against undefeated opponents, the latest a 34-17 setback at Lyons Township last Friday.
