Hinsdale Central wins ninth straight rivalry game over Hinsdale South

Hinsdale Central celebrated its senior night with its ninth straight victory over rival Hinsdale South with a 48-13 win.

The Red Devils (2-3) didn't waste any time scoring in the West Suburban crossover. Senior John Skokna ran 53 yards for a touchdown on the team's first play from scrimmage. The run started a big night for Skokna, who finished with 147 total yards and two touchdowns.

Hinsdale South (2-3) fell behind early in the first half by trading field goals with Hinsdale Central's touchdowns. Senior Nick Sarocco hit a 30-yard field goal following Skokna's first touchdown run to make the score 7-3. D.J. King's highlight-reel 35-yard catch set up the field goal.
