Skokna gets Hinsdale Central rolling to 48-13 win over Hinsdale South

John Skokna provided immediate evidence that Friday would be Hinsdale Centrral's best offensive night of the season.

The senior broke a 52-yard touchdown run on the first play from scrimmage against Hinsdale South, and quarterback Alex Hodakowski ran for three touchdowns and passed for another as the Red Devils (2-3) went on to a 48-13 win over the Hornets (2-3),

Despite Skokna's quick strike, Hinsdale South stayed close for much of the first half. A field goal by Nick Sarocco with 6:06 left in the first half brought the Hornets to within 13-6.
