It didn't seem likely that receiver Bo Turner was going to make much of an impact for Naperville Central's offense Friday night when he went into halftime with one catch for negative yardage.
The senior turned out to be quarterback Sam Jackson's favorite target against Hinsdale Central. The pair connected on five completions in the fourth quarter, all on a drive that got the Redhawks as close to the end zone as they got in the second half.
But Naperville Central was shut out for the final 31 minutes of the game in a season-opening 14-6 loss in Hinsdale.
