• Outlook: The Red Devils, who have outscored opponents 107-14 in the first half, seek their fourth straight victory against the Huskies, who have scored first in all four of their games but are 0-2 in the West Suburban Conference Silver Division.

Oak Park had a tough 7-6 home loss to Lyons Township Saturday, missing a 35-yard field goal with 30 seconds left after recovering a fumble at its 1. The Huskies lost to Glenbard West 54-14 Sept. 15 after losing its opener to Elk Grove 23-20 and topping Willowbrook 29-10.

The Huskies return no offensive starters and three defensive starters. Lineman Mark Willis (6-foot-5, 220 pounds) has received Division I interest. The other returnees, inside linebacker Sean McDonald (2 fumble recoveries) and strong safety Martin Hodges (4 pass breakups), are leading tacklers with juniors Cory Ousley and Dorion Grant.

James Cole (315 rushing yards, 4 TDs) and quarterback Elliott Davidson (200 yards, 2 TDs) are leading rushers. Davidson has completed 58 of 95 passes for 675 yards (239 vs. LT) with four TDs and four interceptions. Darnell Lee (15 catches, 230 yards, TD) and Josh Blackwell (17 catches, 210 yards, 2 TDs) are top receivers.
