Red Devils top Hinsdale South

Hinsdale Central 43, Hinsdale South 14: The No. 16 Red Devils, which led 29-0 at halftime, defeated Hinsdale South (1-3) for the seventh straight year. The Red Devils (3-1) were led by John Whitelaw, who completed 6 of 9 passes for 95 yards and had one touchdown to Rich Zajeski. Zajeski also returned a punt for 77 yards for a score.

The Hinsdale Central defense was led Mike Rogowski, who returned a fumble 60 yards for a touchdown. Rogowski finished with six tackles.
